beware of this company’s customer service!!! I’ve had two very poor experiences with them! Giving two stars only because my kids enjoy their sensory boxes.

I had purchased a “boy box” subscription and, a couple weeks later, I got an email from the company saying they accidentally told customers the wrong theme for the next month’s boxes (they switched what they told customers the boy and girl themes were). In the same email, Young, Wild, and Friedman gave instruction on how to make a one time change to your subscription, so you could get the correct theme you originally thought you were getting. I followed the instructions the day I got the email and made the switch. When it came time for the company to ship our subscription play dough boxes, the shipping email showed I was still receiving the wrong box. I emailed the company and let them know I made the switch to my account the day their email about their error was sent to customers. The customer service rep replied, confirming I made the change the day the email was sent out and they still would not send me the correct box - they tried to gaslight me and say that my order was already processing the day Young, Wild, and Friendma  sent out the email about THEIR error. By the way, my order was not processing, otherwise I would not have been able to change my subscription for that month. Anyway, they still would not honor my change, which I made in an extremely timely manner after receiving their email about their mix-up. Finally, I just decided to charge back the purchase with my credit card company - it wasn’t until Young, Wild, and Friendman received notification of the charge back that they offered to send me the correct box as a resolution. They confirmed through email that they received the charge back notification and that they would like to send me the correct box. Unfortunately, too little too late, I want a refund for my wasted time arguing with them. Poor poor poor customer service!!!

I liked how easy it was to see what was in everything. For me, that made the whole experience feel more straightforward and reassuring, like I could actually understand what I was choosing instead of guessing.

I really enjoyed using the site. It feels bright, fun, and easy to look through, and the pictures look great. i found myself wanting to stick around and browse longer than I planned.

I bought this sensory kit for my kid and was happy with it. The materials felt good, nothing had that weird chemical smell, and everything came sealed properly. My kid got into it right away and had fun with it. Nothing super fancy, but it did the job and I’d probably buy it again.

We picked up a couple of these kits and honestly , the activity guide was more useful than I expected . It was simple enough to follow , but still gave us plenty to do . My 4 year old stayed interested way longer than I thought they would , especially because they got to choose what activity to try next . I’m giving it 4 stars because a few things can get messy quickly , and I do wish the cleanup tips were a little clearer . But overall , it was a good buy and we’ll probably order again

I had to reach out to customer service and, to be honest, the response wasn’t as quick as I expected. I waited a couple of days and ended up sending a follow-up, which reminded me of dealing with support for a small local shop where they’re friendly but a bit slow to reply. Once they did answer, they were really nice and helpful. I just wish the turnaround time had been a little better.

My kid was excited about it at first, which was nice to see, but that didn’t last as long as I’d hoped. It’s cute and interesting enough to grab their attention for a bit, so I’ll give it that, but they got bored with it quicker than I expected.

Not gonna lie, everything I ordered showed up exactly right, aside from one tiny sticker mix-up. It really wasn’t a big deal though, and overall I’m happy with the order

The instructions were kinda confusing at first, not gonna lie. I had to read through them a couple times before it clicked, but once I figured it out, it was FINE.

I thought this was going to turn into a big cleanup situation, but it really wasn’t bad at all! Most of it stayed right in the tray, and whatever did get out wiped up super easily. My kid had a blast, and I loved that my kitchen didn’t look like a disaster afterward.

I picked up a couple of jars to try, and I’m really glad I did. The scents are lovely without being overpowering, which I appreciate because I don’t like anything too strong. The texture feels soft and smooth, and it doesn’t leave my hands feeling dried out afterward. the biggest surprise is that my kid keeps choosing this over the other stuff we have, so I’d definitely call it a win...

Pretty good value for the price. The shipping felt a little high to me, but I guess since the item itself was a good deal, it sort of makes sense? Overall I’m happy with it.

This felt copied and not very exciting. You can usually tell when something has real thought behind it, and this just came across as rushed and kind of boring.

I’m still waiting on my refund, that’s disappointing. I don’t think it’s reasonable to have to keep following up for money that should’ve already been returned

I was hoping I’d be able to reuse this a few times, but it didn’t really hold up. After just one use, some of the pieces were already bent (which was frustrating). Overall, it was kind of disappointing and not as sturdy as I expected.

Just a heads up, the checkout kept acting weird when I tried to place my order. It was glitchy and made the whole process more frustrating than it should’ve been. I’d be careful and double-check everything before submitting your payment

I got this for my 5 year old, and for the most part it seemed age-appropriate. She was able to do a lot of it by herself, though there were a couple spots where I had to step in and help. I don’t remember every part exactly, but nothing was a huge issue. It was fun and kept her occupied for a while, so I’d say 4 stars.

I picked this up to keep the kids busy at home, especially on days when I’m too tired to put together anything more creative myself. Some of the activities were genuinely helpful and fun, and they worked well for quick learning time. The educational value is decent, but a few parts felt a little basic for the price. Maybe I was expecting too much because I needed something more ready-to-go, but I do wish there was a bit more explanation or depth in certain sections. It’s not bad at all, just could be a little more complete...

Grabbed a few sensory kits from youngwildandfriedman.com and my kid was instantly into them. Loved all the textures, tiny pieces, and little scoops. Kept her busy way longer than I thought it would. Does get a little messy, but that’s kind of the whole point with sensory play. Easy enough to clean up, and she keeps asking to play again. Definitely 5 stars from me.
